The wait

Waiting...

I've been waiting on this path for months now..
I've been waiting for things to change..
I've been waiting for my luck to work..
I've been waiting for an opportunity to make it count..
I've been waiting all the while to make a change..
I've been waiting for the moment when dreams come true..
I've been waiting for the journey to start, which I have always wanted..
I've been waiting all the while down the narrow lane of my life..

I've been trying my best to get there..

But now I feel that I'm waiting for..
A wait which is endless..
A wait which is painful..
A wait which is exhaustive in nature..
A wait which is testing my patience..
A wait which is now an insparable part of me..

I don't know when will this wait end..

All I know is that I have to hold on and keep trying...keep trying until I reach there..

Until I reach my goal, my destiny, my dream..

Pain

Pain is what I feel all again.. Pain is what I see everywhere.. Every inch of me is immersed in intense body pain.. And, all that can be seen is my physical suffering.. But...! What about the pain I feel in my heart?? I carry pain in my heart..but still gather the courage to spread happiness to my near and dear ones.. I act strong,  I act unaffected, I act as if there's nothing that could hurt me or break me or steal my courage.. But deep inside, I'm dying.. I'm losing hope, I'm hoping that my savior will come and rescue me.. But this day never comes.. And then I think again.. Why can't I rescue myself again as have always.. But I don't get an answer.. Don't know why.. This never happens with me.. I always have answers to anything and everything.. And, then, I think.. And found out that that this time I'm ready to give up.. Give up on everything.. Give up on my dreams, aspirations, wants, and what not.. And, then, I was taken aback...

Memories

They walk by me silently.. In my pain, in my happiness.. They walk by me enduringly.. When I'm in deep thought.. They walk by me when no one's around.. To support, to give courage.. They walk by me without doubts.. During my failure, and hardships.. They walk by me unquestioningly.. For new challenges, and risks.. They're my memories.. Good or bad, memories are memories as they never leave me alone.. They've shaped me the way I am.. Made me the kind of person I am today.. And, thus, I cherish them.. Because with every new memory we make, comes a new experience.. With these two in two hands.. I can make my life meaningful as well as worth it..
