A leap from monotony

On a regular working day all of a sudden I realized that I've started living a monotonous life that is waking up, getting ready, and preparing breakfast and lunch for myself followed by catching a bus and reaching the office. Again after reaching there, I'll greet everyone talk a little bit and getting involved in completing my pending work. In between these working hours I do take short breaks by checking my mails, whatsapp, chit chatting with my colleagues for a while, having tea, lunch, and using rest rooms. Again getting back to work. While working I also listen to music as it helps me to function better and work efficiently. One can say that I've developed a association between work and music. But, this is not something new which I have developed.

After completing my working hours I'll catch a bus again, reach home, prepare dinner eat, have a small talk or conversation with my flat-mates and dose off/ sleep off. And then again repeat the same routine.

Then,

One day it hit me, hit me real bad that all I've been doing is this and nothing else. Even on Sunday's all I'll do is just finish off my weekly pending work, sleep a little bit more other than the regular schedule and then in no time it's bed time.

I've have no time for my hobbies, my likes, or so. Then on introspecting I realized that it is not that I do not have time rather it is the fact that I invest more time in doing or completing one task than required which as a result I've started loosing interest in doing something extra or things I once used to love to do and looked forward for.

I know most of us might feel like- "Hey! That's me as well." But what to do, we have to earn for bread and butter, also to support a family. There's no way out! Etc etc.

Hey!!! I understand we all need to be responsible and do our part. But along with this what I feel and think is that we need to start include small small activities or take initiatives where we involve our hobbies or passions as we all have 24 hours in a day and that day that that date that time that hour that minute that second won't come back along with that age. So cherish it, enjoy it, live it, breathe it, and love it. You'll see the difference in yourself. You'll be happy, not that you're not now, simply you won't be looking for it in things or goals it will be coming from within. And when a person learns to generate happiness from within s/he stops searching for it in people or things. And only a happy person can make others happy.

Trust me on this, initially it will be really difficult to incorporate these minute changes as we're not used to it but once we develop a habit of it, it is all set. Just make sure you do not have regrets when you think of things you could have done but didn't because of these reasons.

As I read somewhere which said-

"The pain of discipline is way less

Than

The pain of regret"

So try to never have one...!!!

Enjoy life 'coz it's too beautiful and too interesting to miss upon it.

I'm not saying you won't have hardships and all..But yeah if you have a correct approach..I know you can sail through everything..!!

Take care!!!
